Joy Freedman is an experienced and active patient advocate participating on numerous advisory boards, as a speaker at national and global conferences, traveling to Washington, DC to lobby Congress on behalf of colorectal cancer patients, and co-chair of the rectal cancer survivor group at Johns Hopkins Medical Center. Also, Joy is a certified Patient Navigator and shares her perspectives and advocacy work with the next generation of healthcare professionals by speaking with medical and oncology fellows at Johns Hopkins Medical Center.
